Wheeps Cavies

It’s a sad day here at Wheeps Cavies as I’ve lost both of my favourite  piggies in the same day. First was Piglet (think it was from the cold as we had a cold spell) and the second was Baby. I’m going to miss them both. RIP my baby piggies.

This is Honey. She was given to me by a good friend. She’s 12 weeks old and is so sweet

I’ve now passed my driving test so there will be no stopping me now. My first show will be at Epsom in January

Meet Foxy our newest member of the family.

He’s a Finnish Spitz and he’s 18 months old. He is adoreable and has settled in really well even tho we only got him last night

I’ve decided to give up showing for a while as I’m building my stock of aby’s up so don’t have many that are showable at the moment and as I have no transport I’m finding it very difficult to get to them anyway.

Theses are my first litter of Aby’s. Looks like they all could be sows which is even better.

This is my first show of the season and what a show. In the pets section Baby came 3rd in the Smooth Sow U5 class. In the open Jambo did me proud. He got 1st out of 2 in the lilac adult class then 3rd out of 5 in the challenge. He also got me Best Lilac. The other one I took was my little lilac, Porche. She got 2nd out of 5 in the Lilac U5 class and then got 3rd out of 7 in the U5 challenge. My other Lilac I took wasn’t placed.

I went to Epsom today and my lovely lilac Jambo won Best Lilac.

I’ve recently decided to part with my much loved Himi’s. Seven of them have gone to live with Granadan and Precious Cavies. I know they are going to be spoilt rotten by them two. I’ve now decided that I want to concentrate on my Satins and my Abby’s. Good luck to Jane and Zoe with the Himi’s.

This is my Lilac boar. He’s to go in my Lilac Satin programme.

Sow on the pink towel. Boar on the blue towel. I am so looking forward to showing the boar, might just have to enter him in the next show.

This is one of my long term projects, Porche. She’s Self Lilac bred by Denise Kezourec-Thom. I’m hoping to breed from her and put the babies to a Ivory Satin to make Lilac Satins.

These are two pictures of my new rex that Jen picked up for me. She’s 4 months old and hasn’t been handled that much. I will take more pictures as soon as she’s more settled.
